Recent work

Roofs we have put on across Acadiana.

A sample of recent projects from Lafayette, Opelousas, Youngsville, Carencro, Broussard, New Iberia, Scott, and Baton Rouge. Real homes, real roofs, real customers.

About this gallery

Real Acadiana homes. Real warranties. No stock photos.

2C Roofing has been putting roofs on Acadiana homes since 2019. Every house on this page belongs to a real customer in a real neighborhood, and most of them came to us after a storm, a leak, or an insurance adjuster who said it was time.

The work below covers what we actually do on a regular Tuesday: full tear-offs and replacements, hail and wind repairs, full insurance rebuilds, metal panel installs, gutter runs, and FORTIFIED upgrades for homeowners who want extra peace of mind before the next storm season.

If you do not see something close to your house in the gallery, give us a call. We have probably done one and just have not photographed it yet. New jobs go up in the gallery as they finish, organized by city and project type so the page stays useful as it grows.

What we document

Types of work we document here.

Every project in the gallery falls into one of these buckets. Click into the gallery further down to see specific jobs.

Residential replacements

Most of what shows up here is full residential reroofs. We strip down to the deck, replace any rotted plywood, lay synthetic underlayment, ice and water shield in the valleys and around penetrations, and install Atlas Pinnacle Pristine architectural shingles to manufacturer spec. We are Atlas Pro Gold certified, which means the longer-term warranty applies because we install to the book.

Commercial systems

TPO, modified bitumen, and metal retrofits for small to mid-sized commercial buildings across Lafayette and St. Landry Parish. Retail strips, office buildings, warehouses where the existing membrane reached the end of its useful life. We schedule commercial tear-offs around business hours so the property keeps running while the work happens.

Storm damage rebuilds

A big share of our work is full rebuilds after a named storm or a hail event. We document damage before tear-off, coordinate with adjusters, and know which line items get missed on the first estimate. The gallery includes jobs that sat tarped for months before we got there, where the deck underneath was in worse shape than anyone expected.

Gutter installation

Seamless aluminum runs in 5 inch and 6 inch profiles, hidden hangers, screened guards where the customer wants them. A gutter that is sized and pitched right keeps water off your fascia and out of your foundation. Most of our roof replacements include new gutters, and we also do gutter-only jobs when the roof is still in good shape.

Metal roofing

Standing seam panels in 26 gauge Galvalume with hidden fasteners, usually charcoal or matte black. More cost up front than shingles, but a 40 to 50 year roof, cooler attic in summer, and a real insurance discount on a lot of carriers. We have installed metal on new builds in Youngsville and retrofit jobs in Lafayette and Baton Rouge.

FORTIFIED roofs

An IBHS designation that goes beyond Louisiana code on deck attachment, sealed roof deck, and edge metal. Louisiana Citizens and several private carriers now offer a meaningful premium discount for it. We document every step during install so the certification paperwork goes through cleanly the first time.

Editorial standard

How we choose what to show.

Everything in the gallery is a job we actually completed for a paying customer in Acadiana within the last few years. We do not buy stock photos or borrow images from manufacturer brochures. If a project is on this page, our crew was on that roof.

We try to show a mix of cities, a mix of shingle colors, and a mix of project types so you can find something that looks close to your house. When we add new projects, we tag them by city and service so the gallery stays useful as it grows.

Anyone can put a picture of a finished roof on their website. What matters is whether the photo shows their work, in your area, on a house that looks like yours.

Why looking at real projects beats marketing claims.

Before you sign a contract with any roofer, ask to see recent local projects, ask for the addresses if the customer agreed to share them, and drive by one or two if you can. A roofer who has done good work in your zip code will be happy to point you toward it. A roofer who only shows you stock images is telling you something you should listen to.

Louisiana context

Insurance claims and the Acadiana storm market.

Louisiana is one of the toughest insurance markets in the country right now. Here is how that shapes what we do.

Carriers have pulled out of the state, premiums have climbed, and adjusters are quicker to deny or underpay than they used to be. A lot of the projects in this gallery started as an insurance claim, and we help homeowners walk through that process from the first inspection to the final supplement.

We do not chase storms and we do not knock doors. If your roof took damage and you think you have a claim, we will come look, give you an honest opinion on whether it is worth filing, and document what we find so you have something to bring to your adjuster. If the claim does not hold up, we will tell you that too.

A lot of homeowners think their only option is the contractor the adjuster recommends. That is not how it works. You pick the roofer. The carrier pays the claim. The work has to meet code and manufacturer spec either way.

Most of our storm rebuilds came together because we were the second or third bid the homeowner got. We do not run a sales script, we do not pressure on the first visit, and we will hand you our license and insurance certificates before we hand you a number.
