2C Roofing & Construction started in 2019 in Opelousas, Louisiana. We added a second office in the Oil Center in Lafayette to be closer to the customers we serve every day. Our crews live in Acadiana. They are on roofs in St. Landry, Lafayette, and East Baton Rouge parishes every week of the year. We are not a national chain that flies storm teams in for a season and disappears.
Most of our work is residential reroofs and storm damage repairs. We have torn off old three-tab shingle roofs that should have been replaced ten years ago. We have rebuilt roofs after Hurricane Laura, Delta, and Ida. We have installed standing seam metal on new builds in Youngsville. We have put on FORTIFIED systems for homeowners who wanted the Louisiana insurance discount that actually moves the needle on a monthly premium.
On the commercial side, we work on flat-roof systems for small business owners across the region: TPO, modified bitumen, and metal retrofits. Many of those clients started out as residential customers who liked how we ran the job at their house.
If you have hired a contractor before, you know what bad looks like. We try to be the opposite of that.
We climb the roof. We measure. We photograph the bad spots. Then we hand you a written quote with materials, labor, and a timeline. The price on paper is the price you pay, unless we open the roof and find rotted decking, which we show you in photos before we charge a dollar more.
Sometimes a roof does not need replacing. Sometimes a storm did not actually cause the damage you think it did. We tell you. We would rather lose a job than file a bad insurance claim or sell you a roof you do not need.
We do not subcontract to crews from out of state who show up after a hurricane and leave the day they get paid. Our crews live here. They drive past your house on the way to the next job. They know they will see you again.
Roofing is messy work. We use magnets to sweep nails from your driveway and yard. We haul off the old shingles the same day. We do not leave a dumpster on your street for two weeks.
The roofing industry is full of fake or vague trust badges. We carry the ones that actually back what we install.
We do not list manufacturer certifications we have not earned. If you see "Owens Corning Platinum" or "GAF Master Elite" on a contractor's site and you cannot verify it on the manufacturer's site, walk away. Inventing certifications is fraud.
